Cyborg Art: the Representation of the Idea of Man-Computer Symbiosis

电子人不仅是20世纪60年代出现的一种观念,而且已经是现实存在.电子人艺术是当代信息科技与艺术想象彼此结合的产物.它模仿电子人的造型,通过特殊装置增强身体的功能,甚至试图与机器融而为一.它引导人们对机器、技术、身体等问题进行新的思考.

Cyborg is not only a kind of idea appearing in 1960s, but also has come into existence. The art is an outcome of the interaction between contemporary information technology and artistic imagination, which imiates cyborg's shape, strengthens the bodily function with special devices, even tries to integrate with machine into an organic whole. It evokes people to rethink over such problems as machine, technique,and body, etc.
