The power consumption trend in Anhui in 2005 is predicted according to the power consumption situation in the first half of the year. The principle of the DSM by Anhui Electric Power Company is explained, and the 6 key measurements and 4 tasks for meeting the summer peak are introduced. It is pointed out that the key work lies in the arrangement and operation of orderly power supply.
