Reason and Emotion in Artistic Design

经过现代主义设计、后现代主义设计以及此前此后零零星星的艺术运动,现代设计一直在时代的选择中成长,从“理”到“情”的各有所侧重,一路探寻走到亦“情”亦“理”的今天.信息时代的人们期待“情”与“理”并行,让合情合理的设计开启更为理想的人类生活.

Modern design has met numerous challenges in its choice and finally grown up ever since mo-dernist design, post-modernist design, and some other sporadic artistic movements. Its emphasis on “reason” or “emotion” has varied constantly. Nowadays it has developed to attach equal importance to both “reason” and “emotion” after constant experiments. People of the information age expect a combination of both “reason” and “emotion” so that a rational design may create a better life for human beings.
