高职、高专警务英语有其特殊性,教学理念应定位为以应用为目的,以实践为手段,教学内容应突出警务专业性,并结合警务工作,采用先进的教学仪器和设备作为教学工具,施行科学的、合理的、有效的教学模式,提高整体警务人员的业务素质,提高警务人员办理涉外案例的能力,训练出一支能提供优质、高效、便捷服务的干警队伍,全面推进法治进程,把中国建设成社会主义法制国家。

Police English of higher profession technology colleges or higher training colleges has the particularity. The orientation of the ideal teaching mode is: aiming at achieving application, by means of practicing, emphasizing police specialty in the teaching contents, combining English with police work, adopting advanced teaching instruments and equipments as the teaching tools, implementing the scientific, reasonable, efficient teaching mode, increasing the professional quality of police staff, increasing the ability which policemen deal with the cases related to foreigners, training a police team who can provide the services of good quality, high efficiency, convenience and high-speed, overall carrying forward the process of the legal system, constructing China into a socialist country with the legal system.
