即使是最完美的辞书,也存在释义上的谬误,之所以出现这种情况,这与辞书义项的训释与训诂家个人对词义的认识不无关系。
There are occasional mistakes in lexical interpretation of a 'perfect'dictionary.This may be caused by the lexicographer's interpretation of lexical items of the dictionary.On the other hand,the critical interpreter's limited knowledge of word meaning is yet another reason.This paper discuses the role of the critical interpreter in the historical development of word meaning and his inherent limitations.
