汉字物质结构研究的合治观——兼论索绪尔的文字结构思想

Opinions on Chinese Characters' Research of Structure: Comments on Saussure's Structural Opinion of Characters' Structure

本文提出一种“合治”的汉字结构观:将文字结构的硬件和软件二元要素看作是一种互动的关系,二者之间相互影响、相互渗透、相互转化,强调在二者间的互动关系中研究其中的一个要素。并将汉字的硬件研究叫做汉字媒体学,将汉字的软件研究具体区分为汉字形体学和书体学两个概念。“形体学”研究文字的结构单位及其规则。“书体学”又包括三个子领域:汉字字体学、汉字书法学和汉字字迹学。

This article puts forward a “combining” opinion on Chinese characters' research:combining “software” with “hardware”. The two elements influence, penetrate and even transform each other. It is by means of this kind of mutual relationship that the research work is done. The research on Chinese characters' “hardware” is called mediaology of Chinese characters. The research on Chinese characters' “software” is divided into two parts: frameworkology of Chinese characters and stylology of Chinese characters. The former focuses on the units and rules of Chinese characters. The latter is further divided into three parts: letteringology, calligraphology and graphology of Chinese characters.
