广阔的海洋,从蔚蓝到碧绿,美丽而又壮观.
然而,随着世界人口的急剧增长,以及人类物质生活水平的提高,各种工业垃圾和生活废物的数量正在成倍地增长,海洋污染物的80%来自陆地,陆源污染物向海洋转移是造成海洋污染的主要根源.陆地上形成的污染物本应在处理以后,再有限制地向海洋倾倒.但是事实并不如此,大量未经处理的陆源污染物直接或间接进入海洋的事例,愈演愈烈,屡禁不止.除此以外,来自大气层中的烟尘和一些化学物质也源源不断地归入海洋.与此同时,各类不合理的海洋开发活动更是直接地破坏了丰富多样的海洋生态系统、珍稀的海洋生物、优美的海洋景观……如今的海洋环境再也承受不了日益加重的污染和破坏,人类不能等到海洋的蓝色消失后,再来拯救海洋.
In recent 50 years, the pollutantmankind has dumped into oceans is20 times greater than those in early20th century and the increasing rateis still rising now. 80% of the oceanpollutant comes from land withoutany treatment. Besides, dust andchemicals fall from the air intooceans, and some countries even putradioactive substance into deep oceans.Today’s ocean can not bear the in-creasing pollution any more. Beforeblue oceans turn into black ones,mankind must do something now.
