Based on the characteristic and composition technology of Virtual Instruments (VI), the paper probes into the development of VI technology, and recommends the technology application in the function test of farm vehicle. A kind of virtual instruments that can replace some existing testers has been constructed in function test of farm vehicle, and this technology has wide application prospect.
