古诗英译中“音韵美”的再现

Aesthetic Reproduction of “Rhyme” in Translation of Chinese Ancient Poems into English

译诗应在忠于内容的基础上,注重形式信息的传达,以尽量减少翻译过程中诗文美的流失。切不可囿于内容而轻形式,如此译文难免流于平庸,丧失了原诗的光彩和魅力。为此,本文从形式美之一的“音韵美”的角度出发,本着将这一国粹在异域文化中能够尽善尽美地展现的宗旨,结合英诗押韵的表现手法,通过分析实例,详细阐释了古诗英译过程中“音韵美”的再现问题。

In the translation of poem it is important to focus on the convey of message based on the fidelity of content so as to avoid the loss of aesthetic beauty of poem.This paper stresses the significance of poetic form on the basis of sticking to the original content. As a consequence of this, the beauty of poetry to some extent will be fully conveyed. Otherwise, the translation will be reduced to mediocrity without the luster and charm of the original poems. In order to bring this quintessence in full blossom in foreign culture, this paper aims to illustrate in detail the aesthetic reproduction of “Rhyme” in the process of translating Chinese ancient poems into English by analyzing examples in several rhymed expressions used in English poetry.
