A Tentative Study on Demonstrative Pronouns in Japanese

日语指示词“コソア”系列词在指示某人、某事、某物、某地时并非简单地表示指示,还应进行具体语境分析。通常说来,话语中的指代关系跟谈话双方、语句脉络等有远、近、亲、疏等关系。本文多角度对“コソア”系列词的用法及它们之间的语用区别做了初步的分析。

The demonstrative pronouns “コ、ソ”,and“ア”in Japanese,entailing a contextual analysis,should not be simply interpreted to denote something or someone in specific.Generally speaking,the use of discourse demonstration is closely related to the speaker,the listener(s) and the discourse context. The paper provides a tentative study on the demonstrative pronouns and their pragmatic differences.
