以学生为中心的阅读材料选择——英语导游专业泛读课教学探讨

Reading Material Selection Centralized on the Students——On Extensive Reading Course of English for the Students Majoring in Tourism

从英语导游专业英语泛读课教学存在的问题出发,结合多年的教学经验,对“以传统教学为中心”及“以学生为中心”的两种阅读材料的选择进行了比较与讨论,提出了以学生为中心的阅读材料选择,在实际教学中可以极大地改善阅读课的教学效果,使学生的英语水平及能力显著提高的观点。

According to our teaching experiences for many years and the problems of our extensive reading teaching, we compare the two approaches for extensive reading course material selection based on student's needs as well as the traditional teaching methodology. After discussion, we put forward that successful extensive reading course teaching actually depends on the carefully selected reading materials suitable to the students. An ideal teaching outcome can be achieved in practice and the students’ reading capability will be improved greatly.
