Change Urban and Rural Dual Social Structure, Realize Their Harmonious Development

我国在计划经济体制下形成的城乡二元社会结构,已成为制约经济发展和社会全面进步的主要因素。该文阐述了城乡二元社会结构的由来,城乡二元社会结构的社会影响以及城乡二元社会的自我协调,并认为我国只有改革以户籍制度为核心的一系列制度安排,才能变城乡二元社会结构为一元社会结构,实现城乡协调发展。

Urban and rural dual social structure formed because of plan-oriented economical system in China is the most important factor that restricts economic development and all-around social progress. This paper deals with the urban and rural dual structure's origin, social influence, their dual social self-adjustment, and holds that only by reforming a series of system arrangement in which household registration system is the core of the system arrangement, can the city and countryside dual social structure change into unitary social structure, and realize the harmonious development in China's urban and rural areas.
