沈从文的湘西题材小说深受道家文化特别是庄子哲学的影响。本文主要以《菜园》为视角,探讨沈从文对庄子哲学的继承与发展及其作品所呈现出的悲剧的平淡与深沉特色。

'Xiangxi' (the west part of Hunan Province) subject matters in Shen Cong-wen's fictions are saturated with the spirit of Daoist art,especially with Zhuangzi's philosophy. From the perspective of Vegitable Garden, this article intends to probe Shen Congwen's inheritance and the development of Zhuangzi's philosophy as well as the simplicity and depth of tragedy in his novels.
