The Integrated Platform of Distributed Virtual Design and Manufacturing

摘要 分布式虚拟设计和分布式虚拟制造是先进制造技术领域的研究热点,但是,目前关于它们的研究多是分别进行,开发的系统低耦合,甚至是无关联的,这种状况阻碍了研究的实际应用.针对这一问题,武汉理工大学智能制造与控制研究所提出并研制了一个分布式环境下集成的工作平台,该平台实现了虚拟产品建模、虚拟产品分析和虚拟数控加工等多个子系统的集成.本文重点介绍了该集成平台的框架结构及各子系统的关键实现技术.在实际应用中,武钢机械制造公司和武汉重型机床厂利用该平台开发复杂新产品时,缩短了开发周期,取得了显著的经济效益.同时,该平台也为虚拟设计、虚拟制造一体化的进一步深入研究提供了有益的探索. Distributed virtual design and distributed virtual manufacturing have become research focus in the field of advanced manufacturing technology. The current research on these topics has been done respectively, and that's why the developed systems are loosely coupled even without relations, which restrict the practical application of the research results. To solve the problem, an integrated working platform was presented and developed based on distributed environment by Institute of Intelligent Manufacturing and Control of Wuhan University of Technology. The subsystems of virtual product modeling, virtual product analysis and virtual NC process are integrated on the platform. The framework of the platform and the key technologies of subsystems are introduced in the paper. In practical applications, Machine Building Factory of Wuhan Iron and Steel Co and Wuhan Heavy Duty Machine Tool Works shortened the development cycle time of complicated product greatly by use of the platform, and economic benefits were obtained. The work described in the paper will be helpful for further research on the integration of virtual design and manufacturing.
