摘要
对钛合金中的TiC,用重力法和定向凝固法制备试样,分析研究了其中TiC形态及生长方向。钛合金中TiC非平衡结晶形态为枝晶状,同时也观察到在特定情况下TiC晶体沿着[110]方向分枝,分析认为TiC晶体中的第一优先生长方向为<100>方向,第二优先生长方向为<110>,因此当<100>方向的生长受到抑制时,<110>方向作为优先生长方向生长。并提出分枝模型,解释了<100>成为优先生长方向之一的原因。
Morphology and growing direction of TiC in titanium alloy has been investigated by gravity and directional solidification technique. No equilibrium crystalline morphology of TiC is dendritic shape and it has also been observed that. TiC crystal grows in the direction of [110] in some special situation. An analysis of the results indicates that the first preferentially growing direction is direction of <100>, and the second is of <110>. When the growing direction of <100> is suppressed, direction of <110> will be the preferentially growing direction. Dendritic arm spacing models are put forward, which explains the reason why the direction of <100> is one of the preferentially growing directions.
