针织用纱质量的要求高于机织用纱,对纺纱工艺提出了更高的要求。提高针织用纱质量的关键是控制配棉环节和纺纱环节。配棉应控制好原棉的成熟度、短绒率和有害疵点;纺纱过程中应优化纺纱工艺,控制成纱棉结和提高条干均匀度。

Knitting yarn demands is higher than woven yarn, so spinning technology of knitting yarn has more demands. The key point for enhancing knitting yarn quality is controlling cotton assorting and spinning process. Raw cotton maturity, short fiber content and harmful defects should be controlled in cotton assorting, and spinning technology should be optimized in spinning process to control neps and enhance yarn evenness.
