中外科技期刊英文目次编排形式的调查及分析

Investigation and analysis on the patterns of English content tables in domestic and foreign scientific journals

调查了国内外49种自然科学版学术期刊,其英文目次的编排格式多达22种,主要表现在英文题名大小写、字体和作者姓名编排格式的差异。特别是国内科技期刊英文目次编排形式较多,占了17种,国外期刊英文目次编排形式有5种。在分析了国内外科技期刊英文目次编排形式的基础上,推荐了美国现代语言协会(MLA)关于科技期刊英文目次的编排规范。

According to the investigation on 49 domestic and foreign scientific journals, there exist 22 editing patterns of English content tables. And the differences mainly lie in the capitalization of titles, the typeface and the names of authors. In China, there are even 17 patterns of the tables of English contents; but there are only 5 patterns abroad. On the basis of analyzing these patterns, the paper recommends to apply the patterns of English content tables of MLA (American Language Association).
