《时症良方释疑》为清末广东高要人黎佩兰所撰,是继《鼠疫汇编》后地域最相邻,时间最相近,学术传承最直接的一部岭南鼠疫专著。其内容包括:黄兴鄂序、良方释疑目录、鼠疫方释疑(实为黎佩兰自序)、辨症、治法、方药、加减法、论买药、服药法、居处衣服饮食、思患预防、医案等部分。此书结构严谨,言简意赅,医案详实,经验丰富,辨治博采众法,内外合治,专病专治,早用重用,审时度势,胆大心细。

Shi zheng liang fang shi yi (Explanation on Effective Prescriptions of Plague) was written by Li Peilan, a native of Gaoyao, Guangdong in the later Qing Dynasty, which was a monograph on plague in the region of Lingnan after Shu yi hui bian (Collected Compilation on Plague) with most direct academic heritage and written time mostly close to the former book. The contents include Huang Xing'e's preface, catalogue, explanation of prescriptions (actually being Li Peilan's auto-preface), differentiating syndromes, methods of treatment, prescriptions and drugs, modifications, discussion on buying drugs, administration, residence-clothes-dietary, prevention and medical cases, etc. This book is characterized with its well-knitted structure, simple presentation, detailed case records with rich experiences, treatments adopted from various schools, specific treatments for special diseases, early and drastic treatments at optimal time, combined external and internal therapies, etc.
