摩托车外形复杂,且由许多光滑的曲面组合而成,油泥则可以被任意的刮成所需要的形态,可塑性强,而且加温后具有很好的柔软性,特别适合重塑,温度降低后,硬度又很快恢复,适合细节的刻画,符合摩托车外形设计对表面质感的极高要求,因此一直是摩托车造型设计的主要模型制作材料。
The profile of motorcycle which is complicated is composed of many smooth curved surfaces .Clay which can be fabrictated willfully into needly forms is strong in plasticity and good in softness, especially for remodeling .What's more, when the temperature of it falls ,the hardness will recover quickly .Clay fits for depiction of specifics .satisfying the higher demands for surface sense of reality from motorcycle profile design .Clay has been the main model material of motorcycles.
