摩托车常用的硬铬电镀涂层工艺,由于存在许多缺陷,今后有可能部分被热喷涂层工艺取代。目前,国外已将镍磷基陶瓷复合材料(NCC)涂层用于摩托车发动机上,离子镀(TiN)涂层用于摩托车活塞环上,原用于航空发动机、燃气轮机、柴油机中的热障涂层(TBCs),也有可能用于高性能的摩托车上。

Solid chromium coating is commonly used in motorcycle manufacturing, which will be probably replaced by thermal spraying in the future because of its drawbacks .At present, NCC has been used on motorcycle engines ,TiN on motorcycle engine piston rings and TBCs which has been used on aircraft engines ,gas turbines and diesel engines externally will be probably used on high-performance motorcycle .
