There are some problems on pillar mining of rock cross-cut in steep coal seam,such as bad job environment,high working intensity,low coal recovery ratio etc.In the paper,pillar mining experiments of rock cross-cut with pseudo-sloping flexible shield are introduced,and practical experience and technique safeguard can also be obtained for pillar mining of rock cross-cut in steep coal seam.
