摘要
切斯特曼(Chesterman)针对目前翻译理论的研究现状,从模因进化的角度,提出了翻译模因论,试图把各自为阵的翻译观点整合起来,构建一个互为连贯、系统的翻译理论框架。本文首先简要概述了翻译模因的主要概念,然后讨论了翻译模因的产生和发展规律以及翻译规范模因的形成,以期读者对切斯特曼的翻译模因论有一个更深入的了解,从而认识到翻译模因论对翻译研究及翻译教学的重要意义。
Based on the status quo of the present translation studies, Chesterman proposes a memetic view oftranslation from the evolutional perspective of memes, which we call translation memetics, attempting to integrate allthe separate translation memes in the meme pool into a systematic coherent overall framework of translation theory.This paper discusses first the concepts of memes and translation memes, then the evolution and transmission oftranslation memes and finally the formation of translation norms so that we can have a good understanding oftranslation memetics proposed by Chesterman and its significance to translation studies and practice.
