摘要
讨论了图书国际标准书号ISBN条码的结构、类型及在图书馆图书采访、流通、检索中的作用。指出图书ISBN条码对我国图书出版的管理和图书信息的交流以及提高我国图书在国际上的知名度起到了积极的作用。
This paper discusses on the structures and types of books' ISBN bar code, expounds its functions in the acquisitioning, circulating and retrieving of the books in the library, and points out that the books' ISBN bar code has played an active role in managing our country's book publishing, exchanging the books information, and increasing the notability of Chinese books in the world.
