This paper mainly deals with the rationale of the convergent usage and semantic differences when thus used of the two French prepositions à and de. There exist hidden meanings and a semantic core in their basic sense and semantic features, which results in different semantic effects of sentences and passages. This is the reason for the choice between the two prepositions and source of the author's presentation psychology.
