农民工子女因为无城市户口要向城市中小学校交纳“借读费”这是阻碍我国义务教育普及的一大障碍。文章从改革我国的传统户籍制度、恢复公民迁徙自由权和农民子女的教育平等权等三个方面对取消“借读费”这一问题进行了探讨。

Farmer-turned workers' children have to extra-paid fee because of no registered permanent residence in cities,which becomes a big obstacle in all-pervading education program. The author discusses this topic from the view of registeredresidence system reform in our country.
