Urban Motorcycle Traffic Problems and Countermeasures

阐述了城市交通中摩托车存在和发展的原因.分析了其存在给城市带来的问题:交通拥挤、交通事故、噪声、空气污染以及道路资源的利用效率低下.并提出了相应的解决对策:加强对摩托车的管理、限制摩托车的拥有和使用、合理规划城市交通、完善城市交通结构、逐步取代摩托车交通.

This paper expounds the reasons why the motorcycles exist and develop rapidly under the urban traffic circumstance and analyzes the problems brought to the city because of this phenomenon. These problems include traffic congestions, traffic accidents, noise and air pollutions within the urban environment and the low efficiency when using the road resource. Some measures which could solve these problems are suggested, such as reinforcing the management of motorcycles, limiting the possession and usage of them, planning the urban traffic reasonably, perfecting the urban traffic structure, and replacing the motorcycle trip gradually.
