关于自然价值理论的两个争论

Two arguments on the Theory of the Natural Value

自然价值是环境伦理学的理论支点之一。自然价值理论作为一种不同于传统价值观的全新理论,颇有争议。作者着重讨论两点:(1)自然是否具有主体性;(2)自然价值是否混淆了价值和存在的关系。作者认为,并非只有人才具有主体性,将价值的属性仅仅归结于人的主体性只是人类的一厢情愿;存在与价值是密不可分的,它们都是自然的属性,是可以沟通的。

Natural value is the one of theoretical fulcrums of environmental ethics.As a kind of brand-new theory which is different from the traditional viewpoint of value,natural value theory is quite disputable.Author emphsis discusses two points:(1)Whether does man only have subjectivity;(2) Whether has natural value obscured the relation of value and existence. Author thinks:It is not man who only has subjectivity. Attributing the property of value merely to human subjectivity is just one-way willingness.Natural value theory believes that existence and value are not divisible. They are natural properties and can be linked up.
