The neuropsychological model which studies the entoptic phenomena in shaman altered states of consciousness, has been employed to the observation on prehistoric arts by some western scholars such as David Lewis-Williams. Based on this, the author boldly applies neuropsychological model to the research about origination of myth, and discovers that myth is originally not from our ancestor’s literary creation, but from the visions which shamans experience in ecstatic jouney. By this perspective, author also finds the intrinsic relationship between prehistoric art and myth.
