Policy Development and Implementation in Compulsory Education of Migrant Children——Beijing Case Study

作为我国政治、经济、文化的中心,北京一直是流动人口的主要流入地之一,近年来流动人口中适龄儿童少年义务教育问题引起了各方关注,本文在实证研究的基础上,分析了政策目标与现行制度、资源配置之间的差距以及政策实施过程中所面临的主要问题。

As the political, economic and cultural center of China, Beijing has been one of the major destinations for migrants. The issue of compulsory education of school-age migrant children has aroused attention widely. Based on empirical study, this article analyses the distance between policy targets and existing system as well as major problems in the process of policy implementation.
