客观、纯美论温词——叶嘉莹对温庭筠词的跨文化解读

“花间鼻祖”温庭筠的词自古以来多受关注,清代常州派词论家张惠言以“比兴寄托”解温词,遭到王国维等人的反对。加拿大籍华人女学者叶嘉莹亦反对张惠言的穿鑿比附,但她并不是如王国维等人那样完全从知人论世的角度,而是直接从文本出发,独辟蹊径,从跨文化的角度,以尼采和康德的美学理论来观照温庭筠词,认为其词的最大的两个特色:一是多为客观之作,二是多为纯美之作。并为张惠言以比兴寄托解温词找到了原因,也据此驳斥了张惠言之说。

There are so much concern on Wen Ting-yun' Tz'u since ancient times. Zhang Hui-yan studied Wen'Tz'u with the rhetoric means of bixingjituo in Qing dynasty, but met with opposition of Wang kuo-wei in modern times. Chia-ying Yeh, a woman scholar of Chinese Canadian, opposed Zhang's viewpoint from Wen' conducts like Wang kuo-wei. However she observed Wen' Tz'u with the aesthetics theories of Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche and Immenuel Kant and held that there were two characteristics of Wen'Tz'u: objective and pure aesthetics.
