据估计,我国目前至少有宠物1亿只(条),宠物经济的市场潜力也达到150亿元人民币。但宠物产业品牌缺失、管理分散、产品和服务缺乏标准等很多问题都在困扰着我国的宠物产业,这需要相关机构、部门的正确引导和合理规范。

According to the latest statistics, the total number of pets owned in our country is above 100 million. And the potential pet market expenditure of China is about §15 billion, while the numbers in the U.S. are 359 millions and $34.4 billions, respectively. In contrast with the U.S., our pet industry is a burgeoning industry. Businessmen will find more and more opportunities in the pet market. But we run short of famous brands in our pet manufacturing industry at present. Decentralized management of functional departments and the lack of standards in products and services will confuse our pet industry. Therefore, stronger leadership of government and logical standardization will be needed.
