As a clean, non-polluting energy source, natural gas has a valuable applicability and a large field of utilization. It is therefore quite essential to explore possibilities of using natural gas in industry and also for living purposes. An account is presented of how the Lanzhou Petrochemical Co. uses clean and highly efficient natural gas to substitute diesel and residual oil for kindling of boilers and in reconstruction of combustion systems for stable operation during low load conditions.
