本文回顾了我国放射性（核）地球物理勘查在科学研究和生产应用等方面的历史；介绍了本学科的进展和成绩，以及完整的放射性（核）地球物理勘查体系的建立和健全；应用领域不断拓宽，在战略选区、综合方法、＂攻深找盲＂和多种领域的应用中有所突破；数据处理和成果解释已计算机化；核物探仪器基本国产化．并对今后的发展方向提出了具体的意见．
