摘要
思维训练是英语专业教学的重要组成部分,而综合英语则是对学生进行思维训练的一个重要平台。本文结合Bloom对认知能力的分层,讨论了对英语专业学生进行思维训练的必要性,并从综合英语的选材、教学设计、教学实施等方面探讨思维训练的途径。
The training of cognitive skills plays an important role in English teaching for English majors. As Comprehensive English is a major course in the English Department of Chinese universities, it should set cognitive skills among its instructional objectives. This paper discusses the importance of cognitive skills training for English majors and proposes an approach to the teaching of cognitive skills in accordance with Bloom's classification of cognitive domains.
