<Abstrcat> Phragmites australis is a widespread species in the world. Phragmites australis wetland is an important type of wetland ecosystem. It has ecological, economic and social benefit. The integrated ecosystem assessment is the basis for ecosystem management of Phragmites australis wetland. Based on the different growth and development stages of P. australis and water requirement, the high yield would be produced by irrigation, drainage and adjusting the ratio of N, P and K in the soil. In addition, its growth rate has close relation with annual accumulated temperature and frost-free period.
