This paper describes a database user's requirements-describing language (DBURDL), which is used for the requirement analysis phase of database design. Emphasis is on the au- thors viewpoint on the description of both the user's requirements with a confined nature lan- guage and the language grammar. The control and guidance in grammar for satisfying user's requirements are given, and a method of presenting multi-element relationship is discussed. The DBURDL's grammatical rule is introduced in detail.
