摘要
《嘉莉妹妹》一直被视为美国自然主义流派的一部杰作。文章另辟蹊径,从女性主义的视角审视嘉莉这一人物形象,分析了嘉莉的反传统的、现代的、新女性特征,并对作者在文本中表达的女性话语给予了诠释。
Sister Carrie has been considered as a masterpiece of American Naturalism. This paper, however, deliberately examines the character of Carrie from the feminist angle. In this way, it analyses the anti-traditional and modem dispositions demonstrated by Carrie and makes an interpretation of the textual discourse conveyed by the author.
