Shelley's poetry mainly has three themes: society;nature;life.His political poems give him a position as the representative poet of English Active Romanticism,while his poems on nature make him the loudest sound among English romantic songs.In his poems about life,he extols pure love and reveals life philosophy and secret.The three themes make him the representative of English Active Romanticism and a great lyrical poet in world literature.
