论“白俗”

The Vulgar of the Poet BAI Ju-yi

本文从白居易诗歌的创作实际出发,对苏轼“白俗”的评价予以辩证,具体阐明白诗的通俗之得和庸俗之失。白诗的通俗主要表现为于平易中见精纯,意到笔随,不事雕琢,浅近易懂,明朗自然;于浅切中见流丽,感时深切,状物贴切,诉情亲切,待人恳切。白诗的庸俗则表现为有些诗在内容上的低级趣味,或流连光景,或自诩显赫,或矜奇玄博,或为文造情;在形式上的浮浅直露,显得老套,爱说教,概念化,公式化。

From the reality of BAI Ju-yi's inditement of poems,the article dialecticly argues against SU Shi's criticism on the vulgar of BAI Ju-yi,and expatiates the gain of his poem's earthliness and the losing of his poem's philistinism.His poem's earthliness is embodied in quintessence from the easy,clear and nature expression without any ornate style,but finery from simple words,deep,appropriate and kind.His poem's philistinism is embodied in babbittry in the contents,such as on the scoop of sight,or cracking himself up,and the directly and superficial expression in pattern shows stereotype,sermon,con ceptionization and formulation.
