“道”是融宇宙本体和人生之道为一体的形而上的抽象理念。老庄的“大美”是一种微妙玄通、虚形阴柔、静寂空灵、含蓄隽永的审美追求。老庄“大境”以自由心灵感受人生,以审美态度超越人生,以精神自由为审美旨归,是道家美学思想的最高的审美境界。

'Dao', an abstract conception, refers to the combination of the universe and the life. Zhuangzi's theory 'Damei' is about the pursuit of a sense of subtleness, softness, elegance and implication. His another theory, 'Dajing', is an ideal aesthetic state of Taoist school, which insists on experiencing life with a free spirit and keeping aloof from the reality with an aesthetic attitude.
