试述民国时期启蒙与救亡背景下的编辑出版活动

民国时期是中国社会的大变革时代,反映在思想文化上,则是启蒙与救亡两大主题。书刊杂志作为重要的传播手段,在这一变革中发挥了重要的作用。民国时期,西方大量的思想学说被介绍到中国来,科学与民主开始深入人心,封建主义遭到无情批判,显示了知识分子寻求救国救民之道的不懈追求。中日战争爆发后,中华民族空前团结,表现了强大的生命力和战斗力,宣传抗日救亡的书刊杂志大量涌现,救亡取代启蒙成为时代主题。

<Abstrcat> The Republic of China is assumed to be the great epoch of social changes, which is reflected in two main ideological or cultural themes of enlightenment and salvation. Books and magazines as the major media play a significant role. Western ideas are introduced into China, with science and democracy gradually rooted in the human minds, and feudalism ruthlessly disgusted. Such is the way of the Chinese intellectuals' unceasing pursuit of enlightenment and salvation. Since the breakout of Sino-Japanese war, the Chinese people become united with a great vitality and courage. This has led to the coming of innumerous books and magazines, highlighting the salvation and belittling the enlightenment.
