A Study of Yanbian's Economic Development Strategy

最近几年,延边经济增长保持较快发展势头,但在人均GDP、固定资产投资等主要经济指标方面,与全国、全省平均水平相比仍有很大差距,并呈现扩大趋势。分析延边经济增长动力因素及国际、国内欠发达地区加快发展的成功经验,采取投资拉动战略已成为延边近期加快经济发展的一个战略性选择。因此,继续深化投资体制改革,建立良好投融资环境,全力激发社会投资热情,大力培育各类投资主体,以重大项目建设带动社会投资增长,已成为促进经济快速发展的重要手段。

<Abstrcat> In recent years, Yanbian prefecture has witnessed its rapid economic growth, but compared with the average level of the State and Jilin Province, it still has a long way to go as to its major economic index, such as GDP and fixed assets investment. And the gap between Yanbian and other regions is widening. After analyzing the motive factors in the prefecture's economic growth and summing up the successful experience in those underdeveloped regions at home and abroad, we hold that stimulating investment has become a strategic choice for Yanbian's acceleration of economic development in times to come. Therefore, we should deepen the reform in the investment system, create a favourable investment environment, and encourage the whole society to invest. We should also support various main investment bodies, for the construction of large projects can help to increase societal investment and it has become an inportant means for the acceleration of economic growth.
