摘要
寓言理论是本雅明文艺思想中的一个独创性理论。通过对德国巴罗克时期悲剧(非一般的悲剧)的分析,本雅明把传统的寓言概念改变为有着具体社会历史内涵的独特美学范畴———同现代社会及其艺术的残破性相联系,而同古典主义美学追求艺术的完整性相对抗,并试图以“寓言”性的现代艺术弥合知识与经验之间的疏离,以便达到对资本主义异化社会的批判。“寓言”因而成为解释现代艺术的钥匙。
Allegory theory was an original creation of Benjamin's Literary theory.Through studying the German tragic drama in the Baroque period,Benjamin transformed the traditional allegorical concept into distinctive aesthetic category,which is undoubtedly closely connected with the fragmentalization of the modern world and its art and is against the classical persuit of the artistic integrity.Benjamin also attempted to heal the separation between knowledge and practice with the “allegorical” modern art for the purpose of criticizing the alienated society of capitalism. So “allegory” became a key to explaining modern art.
