GIS:A New Favorite in Business

摘要 自有企业以来,企业家们大多面对地图孕育着自己的商业战略:一个街区的开店计划,一个城市的配送系统,一个地区的营销计划,一条全国性的业务网点,乃至一条向海外延伸自己企业触角的供应链。当企业家开始享受信息系统为管理所带来的变革时,有一种大家熟悉又陌生的应用地理信息系统(GIS),能够替代掉企业家墙头的大幅地图,将地理信息的处理融合企业应用中,改变企业家综观全局的观察方式,让GIS真正地为企业决策层服务。本文通过介绍GIS在商业中的应用,说明在目前的商业业务日趋复杂、商业系统分布愈发广泛的时代,利用GIS去整合业务系统、形成战略支持的信息系统的重要意义。 Since the very beginning of corporation, most of the enterprisers have been planning their own business strategy with a map: the opening scheme of a shop in a district, the delivery system in a city, the selling plan for an area, the business network across the country, and even the supply chain stretching to overseas market. While the enterprisers enjoying the reform brought by information system, a familiar but also net application, GIS, came out. GIS can replace the real map which hanged on the wall, integrate geography information with business application; change the observation manner of the enterprisers, and serve the decision makers of the enterprises. This paper introduces the application of GIS in business, illustrates the important meanings of GIS in integrating business system and building strategic support system in the era of increasingly complex, broad, and competitive business environment.
