如何优化网络课程的设计正成为远程教育中的重要问题,从梅瑞尔首要教学原理看,有效的教学建立在合理的教学内容与有益的教学活动基础上,据此,网络课程的设计应当遵循四个原则:课程内容的价值性、学生主体参与性、交互控制性和教育实践性,以保证网络课程的质量。

How to design the web-based courses effectively has been an important problem in the development of distance education. In this article, in terms of Merill's First Principles, we demonstrate its four principles for designing web-based courses. They are the value of content, the participation of students, the interactive control and educational practice. Also we give some suggestions for them and hope that this is helpful to the design of web-based course.
