从传统性爱观念的演变来看,《金瓶梅词话》中的性爱描写,体现了两性关系的文化特色。表现为:一夫多妻的婚姻结构,导致了两性性爱对等的失衡;等级制度和等级观念使扭曲的性爱畸变成为正当的社会规范;娼妓制度使男女性爱沦为正常的商品交易;房中术使性爱描写的细节极为张扬,成为人所诟病的缘由;西门庆的性观念反映了特定时代的特定风气。作者以惩戒、劝勉的口吻进行道德说教,以写实的手法进行性爱描写,使人一方面看到儒家道德说教的虚伪,一方面又看到晚明社会风气的黑暗与淫糜。

The sexual description in Notes and Comments on Jinping Mei reflects lots of characteristics of feudal culture in China, the author used warning and persuading tone to conduct moral preachment; and used realistically method to conduct sexual description . All these make people understand the dishonesty of the moral preachment of the Confucianists. On the other side, it makes us realize the social darkness and licentiousness in late Ming Dynasty in China.
