摘要
随着万维网的发展,在网上实现3维图形的显示、漫游、分析和量测成为研究的焦点内容之一。本文总结了基于WEB的三维虚拟场景的建立与编程技术———VRML与Java3D技术,对这两种技术的运行机理、实现机制作了较详细的论述,并给出了相应的实例。实例证明基于VRML和Java3D建立WEB上的三维模型可以提供给用户一个逼真的、实时的、可交互的三维虚拟场景。
The development of World Wide Web (WWW) has brought about a lot of Internet-based applications.The display and analysis of three-dimensional scene on the web is a hotspot in GIS and it needs 3D models and 3D virtual scene to abstract and represent the real world.So it is necessary to study 3D models,3D virtual scene and 3D scene languages to implement Web-based 3D GIS.This paper discusses the 3D scene languages such as VRML and Java3D,gives detail description of theory and implementation-mechanism of VRML and Java3D.Finally it is demonstrated that VRML&Java3D can generate a dynamic,real-time,interactive,distributed three-dimensional space and scene inside the Internet.
