摘要
培根是英国经验主义哲学和美学思想的奠基人,其美学思想与其唯物主义认识论密切相关。培根的美学思想体现在人本主义审美观、功利主义艺术观和历史主义诗学观三个方面。培根的美学与哲学表现了唯物主义、现实主义、乐观主义、世俗主义和人本主义的时代精神。
As the founder of British empiricist philosophy and aesthetics, Bacon's aesthetic thoughts were closely related to materialist epistemology, which consisted of humanistic approach to beauty, utilitarianistic approach to arts, historical approach to poetics. His aesthetic and philosophic thoughts embodied the spirits of materialism, realism, optimism, secularism, and humanism of that era.
