二战结束以后,随着国际形势的变化,美国的对日政策也发生了重大调整,由限制日本发展成为扶植日本,力图使其成为美国在亚洲的代言人。正是出于这一目的,在美国的一手策划下,美日等国签订了片面媾和条约——《旧金山对日和约》。它严重地损害了中国的利益,并对历史观、北方四岛以及战后日本国际地位的提高等问题产生了不良影响。

America’s Japan policies have undergone major changes following the changes of the international situation after the Second World War, which have become from containing to supporting Japan in order that Japan be made America’s prolocutor in Asia. It was just for this purpose that the “San Francisco Peace Treaty with Japan,” a one-sided peace treaty contrived solely by America, was signed by such countries as America and Japan. This treaty has seriously damaged the interests of China and has adversely affected such issues as of the four islands north of Hokkaido, the history concept as well as the international status of Japan.
