This paper examines the effects of finely dispersed fillers on healing in asphalt binders and asphalt concrete mixes at relatively low temperatures. Two binder systems containing ground limestone fillers of significantly different gradations were used to study the effect of filler particle size on healing in the asphalt mastic.
